 How can I Help?

Making a Difference

There are many ways to make a difference in the wake of a tragedy like the one on September 11th, 2001. Donating time and money are always good, but sometimes donating a thought is just as important.  Below are a few ways that you can make a difference in someone’s life by simply taking a few minutes out of your day and writing a letter.

Letters of Thanks – Find out where to send letters of thanks to the rescue workers working at ground zero in New York City.

Teens encouraged to ‘Do Something’ – Read about topics which interest teens and answer poll questions to find out what your peers are saying about the world today. Get involved!

Kids Making a Difference – Find out how to make a difference by either mailing letters to NY Firefighters, Children in NY and DC or the Mayor and people of NY. Add your work of art to the online gallery, or speak your mind in the peace forum.
