When
events such as the Terrorist Attacks on America occur, the immediate
national response is shock, followed by a need to create order
where there appears to be none. Thousands of stories suddenly
arise pertaining to that particular incident, resulting in widespread
wives tales. Explanations
are randomly assembled and much like the game ‘telephone’
we played as kids, what you read via e-mail is not always truth.
Stories have been fabricated and then embellished for mass
consumption. Even during the aftermath of the Kennedy assassination someone
‘realized’ a number of unusual similarities (most
of them false) between Kennedy and Lincoln.
The
correct term for what takes place in these situations is ‘selective
thinking’ and it plays a big part in manipulating emotions. Selective thinking is a process where a person focuses on favorable evidence while ignoring
the unfavorable in order to support a suggested theory. Mind readers using ‘psychic powers’
are seemingly successful as a result of this process. With the events of September 11th,
people feel the need to search for proven significance or an explanation
for the series of tragic events.
Observe:
- The date of the attack is 9/11: 9+1+1=11
- September 11th is the 254th
day of the year: 2+5+4=11
- After September 11th there are 111
days left in the year
- The state of New York is the 11th
state to be added to the Union
- There are 11 letters in the words ‘New
York City’
- The first plane to hit the towers was flight
11
- The twin towers standing side by side look like
the number 11
- The word Afghanistan has 11 letters
- The Pentagon has 11 letters
- The name Ramzi Yousef (the man convicted of the
attack on the WTC in 1993) has 11 letters
- Flight 11 had 92 people on board: 9+2=11
- Flight 77 had 65 people on board: 6+5=11
- 119 is the country code for Iran/Iraq: 1+1+9=11
This
was a popular e-mail circulating after September 11th,
depicting the idea that the number 11 held some kind of significance
in the overall planning behind the attacks.
Look
closely…
The
country code for Iran is actually 98; Iraq is 964.

Flight
77 actually had 58 passengers, two pilots and four flight attendants
totaling 64 people, not 65.
As
far as ‘The Pentagon’ having 11 letters, you can put
‘The’ in front of many words to create more letters.
Numerology,
the most widespread and simplest of the occult arts, uses charts
to construct and reveal hidden significance in numbers and letters. It uses the numbers 1-9 and the ‘master’ numbers
11 & 22, corresponding them to characteristics and values
in humans. Each number is full of significance and
interestingly enough, there was a rumor spread about a wave of
terrorist attacks due on September 22nd. There’s
that master number again.
If
we use the selective thinking process, we are only going to find
the most obvious of coincidences. Beware or rather be aware,
of this kind of thought process.
It was once said that by remarkable coincidence, both Lincoln
and Kennedy had 7 letters in their last name.
For that matter so did Madison, Jackson, Johnson, Harding
and Clinton. There wasn’t a band of hackers collecting
money for Osama Bin Laden, no man riding air pockets and falling
debris down 82 stories of the WTC to safety and no unburned Bible
in the wreckage of the Pentagon.
The world is not flat and hyperboles still exist.
