Mock Trial

Some of you are already taking part in Mock Trial but if you're not, these sites will help you and your High School to become involved on a national scale. Click on the general sites for nationwide information or select an individual state site to learn more about what's going on in your particular area. If you are interested in law and joining a Mock Trial Association, be sure to contact your state's High School coordinator for available options.


General Sites

American Mock Trial Association
Locate up-to-date information and breaking news in relation to the Mock Trial Competition. View tournament dates, rules of court, or get a copy of the Mock Trial Handbook to use as a resource.

National High School Mock Trial Championship

Law for Kids
This is the kind of site where you could spend hours and not get bored. Read or listen to first hand accounts from teens who ignored the law. Watch cartoons to learn specific laws and regulations, or write notes to some of the guys and gals who have shared their stories. Get your own questions answered or learn about the U.S. Constitution from the LawDocs. Visit a virtual detention center and see what it’s like on the inside.

Arizona High School Mock Trial
The Online Mock Trial Question Center is your source for current Mock Trail Tournament Materials for the Arizona High School Mock Trial Program. "The program is an opportunity for students to learn about the law and the legal system from practicing attorneys; teachers to work closely with attorneys to reinforce legal concepts in the classroom; and attorneys to share their expertise about the law and their legal skills with young people. "

Indiana High School Mock Trial Association
Indiana has launched this new website to assist high school students participate in mock trial competitions. In additiona to traditional materials available, they are also running competitions related to the mock trial experience in journalism and art.

Maryland High School Mock Trial Competition
As part of the Community Service Programs, the Maryland Mock Trial Competition originated in Montgomery County in 1973. E-mail the staff or contact the foundation office for more information on how to join.
