Each year we take one day to remember all of those who have died in the defense of our country and our freedoms. Since the beginning of the Iraq War there have been 3,562 coalition deaths -- 3,298 Americans, two Australians, 140 Britons, 13 Bulgarians, six Danes, two Dutch, two Estonians, one Fijian, one Hungarian, 32 Italians, one Kazakh, three Latvian, 19 Poles, two Romanians, five Salvadoran, four Slovaks, 11 Spaniards, two Thai and 18 Ukrainians, according to an April 13, 2007 report by CNN. Many US politicians are now calling for the withdrawal of troops by this time next year. However, more than 24,600 troops have been injured in the fighting as well. Questions to Ponder
