| From Classbrain.com Language Arts You could be the next Hometown Reporter!
You can become a published writer by putting together an article on your favorite places in your hometown or nearby city. Choose a location in your town or city, and follow our guidelines to write about what you find unique and interesting about it. You can write about a museum, park, amusement park, favorite restaurant, local festival, beach, or other location or event you think is noteworthy. We will be publishing all of the well written articles that follow our guidelines in our State Reports section on ClassBrain. You must be in school grade 4th-12th. If you are under 13 years of age, a parental permission slip MUST be on file before you send your entry. (see our Entry and rules in Movies in the Classroom) If you are a teacher, and one of your students submits the 1st Place Hometown Reporter entry, we have a special award for your class. Picturehouse has graciously donated a $250 American Express Card for the classroom of the first place winner of the Kit Kittredge Hometown Reporter Competition, a ClassBrain exclusive.
