This set of writing prompts is centered around sports. There are topics on team sports, individual sports, and fantasy sports. Choose one or more that interest you and put some thought into your journal entires.


Monday
ClassBrain is situated in Orange County, California and the Angels just won the World Series for the first time. Did you watch the World Series? If so, how did the game affect you? If not, what interested you more than the game?

Tuesday
Have you ever dreamed about being a sports star? Which sport is your thing and what do you think it would be like to be one of the best in the world?

Wednesday
Some people only think of teams when they think of sports. What are your favorite individual sports? Pick one in which you excel and write about how you first started participating in that sport.

Thursday
If you could switch bodies with an athlete for one week, who would you choose? How do you think you would do in their body for that week? Would you ruin their career or help it?

Friday
Create your own extreme sport. What is the most bizarre radical sport that you can create? Set up the rules, the goal, and how you pick the winner.
