A bit about the artist . . .

This particular page is devoted to Johann Sebastian Bach. He was born in Eisenach (Thuringia) on March 21, 1685. He died in Leipzig on July 28, 1750. Bach’s family had produced musicians for many generations before he came along. As a 9-year old child, he lost both of his parents in one year.
