A bit about the artist . . .
This particular page is devoted to Ludwig Van Beethoven. He was baptized in Bonn on December 17, 1770. He died in Vienna on March 26, 1827. The year 1802 was a year of crisis for Beethoven as he realized that the impaired hearing he had noticed for some time was incurable and sure to worsen. When he died, 10,000 are said to have attended the funeral.
