This fun color project by Claudia Cortés lets you explore color through "interviews" with each color, projects, and fun flash movies. If you're studying design this is a great primer on the meaning of colors.
This site receives our ClassBrain Networthy Award for excellence in Internet design.
Color In Motion is broken into three sections:
"The Stars," where you can see an "interview" with each of the colors, where they share their portfolios explaining their complementary colors, the positive and negative traits that they represent in design, their meanings around the world, and more.
"Movies" present fun Flash® movies depicting the traits of each color. These are very lighthearted and fun. A real pleasure to watch. To change colors, click on Menu at the bottom of the page on the left side. Otherwise they'll just run through the colors from red to purple.
"The Lab" allows you to set up scenes or draw your own picture and then print it out. Also in this section is the Kaleidoscope, which is wonderful fun. Add and change the colors until you get a patern that you like, then you can stop the image and print the pattern.
This is a wonderful exploration of color from beginning to end. If you are involved in color in any way, you should explore it and enjoy it!
