Climate Time Machine

The following demonstration shows the effects of global warming over time. You can see what has been happening with sea ice in the Arctic since 1979, as well as what the consequences may be to various parts of the globe as sea water levels rise. Carbon emission levels need to decrease if we have any hope of repairing the damage being caused. Taking a look at the change in temperature since the late 1800s is one of the scariest things for me. Take a look for yourself and then perhaps it is time for all of us to get more involved with reducing waste and our carbon imprint on the world.
