Photoshop - Case Studies

Photoshop

Having a lot of designers at ClassBrain, we definitely love when we find a really well done site that has to do with art, and we’d like to share an excellent resource with you. Saddington & Baynes is a group of designers that specialize in photographic post-production. They have created an excellent site to showcase their talent. In the process, they’ve also created a wonderful tutorial for students that are studying composite work in Photoshop.

If you click on any of the images in their gallery you can see a final piece that they’ve created. Then you can click on the icon in the lower left corner that says “Original Elements” to see the photos that they worked with to create the magical image that you see in the ad.

The real fun comes, however, when you take a look in their case study area. Chose an image that you like and then watch as their compositing skills unfold in front of your eyes. They take you through a step-by-step process of how they created the final image. As before, you can also click on the “Original Elements” icon in the lower left corner to see the photos that were used to make the final ad.

If you are a student of design and you have any interest in the work you can do in Photoshop, then this is a must see site. The best thing that you can do is learn from the best, and Saddington & Baynes are at the top of their field.
