The Physics Classroom

Although Physics is a science that deals with matter and energy and their interactions, it can be really hard to visualize such things as Newton's Laws, sound waves, or refractions of light. Until now that is! The Physics Classroom helps you learn basic Physics concepts through tutorials written especially for high school students. Each lesson provides an opportunity to assess your mastery of the material and you can check your understanding with quizzes. Get help with 1-D Kinematics, Motion and Forces in Two Dimension, Circular Motion, Light Waves and Color, and much more. Visit the Multimedia Physics Studio to visualize your lessons, or hone in your skills by completing graphing problems, recognizing forces, identifying vector magnitude and direction, and practicing vector addition. These simplified explanations and colorful visual demonstrations will make you wonder why Physics was such a complicated subject in the first place!
