Weekly Writing Prompts - Miscellaneous

Do you need an idea to get you started on your writing? Each week, we’ll bring you a new set of ideas that you can use to knock your brain onto a new line of thought. Try one or all of the following writing prompts this week:

Writing Prompt #1
List up to four of your best qualities. Pick one that you think helps you succeed in life. Write about how this quality helps you overcome day-to-day obstacles.

Writing Prompt #2
Do you think there is life on other planets? Use ClassBrain’s Alien Race Worksheet found in the Drake Equation lesson plan to layout the structure of the society of your alien race. Then write three paragraphs about the history of their culture.

Writing Prompt #3
What do you know about the game of baseball? Share what you know in a few paragraphs about the game or about your memories of a particular game that you have attended.

Writing Prompt #4
Write about your favorite memory of when you were a little kid.

Writing Prompt #5
Write a letter to the President of the United States telling him what you think should be changed to make the United States a better place to live.
