Summer Camp Where Girl Musicians Rule

Power Chord Academy and Daisy Rock Guitars cater to young girls who love music to deliver a different kind of summer camp. This year they have a "Girls Rule" guitar-giveaway promotion to encourage teen girls to rock their hearts out at a 2008 PCA summer session! All girl guitarists who sign up during the first week of February, for any one of Power Chord Academy's 2008 nationwide summer sessions will be eligible to receive a beautiful, totally free Daisy Rock Stardust Elite Petite Rebel guitar!
"Power Chord Academy's outstanding program is the perfect way for girls to get involved with music!" says Daisy Rock Guitars President Tish Ciravolo. "Not only will girls spend a week experiencing ever aspect of life as a musician, they'll get to take home a Daisy Rock Guitar to continue learning and playing long after their week at the Academy ends. In addition to taking lessons and having plenty of time to practice their style as well as their music at Power Chord Academy, "students professionally record a CD single with an established producer,shoot an MTV-caliber music video with a renowned director,and perform several huge concerts for awestruck friends and family," according to PCA. Students also receive guidance, inspiration, and technical pointers.
Exclusive performances from some of today's most prominent and influential bands and industry executives, such as: Yellowcard, Under the Influence of Giants, Halifax, RX Bandits, Rise Against,
the All-American Rejects, Unwritten Law, The Donnas, Sugarcult, Bayside, Powerman 5000, Supersuckers,
members of 311, NIN drummer Chris Vrenna, The Mars Volta, New Found Glory, P.O.D., Thrice, and special
guests from MTV, Atlantic Records, ASCAP, Atlantic Records, and Epitaph Records.
