Regardless of whether or not you decide to try the products listed below, the advice below is a great way to start taking care of your skin.
If nothing seems to be working, be sure to see a skin care professional for additional assistance.
If your acne is the problem, try these steps to get it under control and to boost your self-esteem!
- Realize that acne is not your fault, and that 80% of ALL people will experience acne at some time during their lives.
- Drink 8 glasses of water every day to keep your skin hydrated and healthy.
- Don't pick at your acne, since picking can make the area become more irritated and inflamed.
- Get 7 or 8 hours of sleep a night.
- Minimize sun exposure and reapply non-oily sunblock often when skin is exposed to direct sunlight.
- Place an ice pack or compress on inflamed areas twice a day for 2-5 minutes to reduce inflammation.
- Use an over-the-counter acne medication like Reversion Acne Control every day to stop breakouts before they can begin.
