The ClassBrain Net Worthy Award

With only two other sites awarded the ClassBrain Net Worthy Award, we choose wisely. A site has to hold a wealth of valuable information presented in a clear and concise manner to really get our attention. We have come across a site that demonstrates these qualities and much, much more. Our third award for educational excellence goes to a project called eThemes. This is a project of the eMints (Multimedia Interactive Networked Technologies) Program fuled by the 21st Century Vision education initiative. eMints is administered by MOREnet under contract from Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

What does this mean to you as an educator? You have access to over 500 eThemes on topics ranging from Africa: Adinkra Cloths to Yellowstone National Park. The best part about this site is the way it allows you to tailor your search for a particular lesson plan or topic. Search by keyword, grade level(s), or the Show-Me Standards. View eThemes in the index alphabetically or by grade level. You can even request a specific resource through the eMints Program. Once you select a topic, you are sent to a page with descriptions, grade levels, performance standards, knowledge standards, and resource links. This unique system allow you to gain immediate access to relevant topics without the hassle of trying to weed through the world wide web. Stop by and see for yourself the amazing capabilities of this website and we’re sure you’ll agree this is truly a Net Worthy resource!
