The Serpent Mound in Ohio

The Serpent Mound in Ohio is a fascinating archaeological site. It is located overlooking Brush Creek Valley and it is one of the largest serpent effigies over found. The excavations date back to AD 1000-1550 and 800 BC-AD 100. The Munds interest as an archaeological site and a "mysterious" location, have made it a popular tourist stop.
