Idaho's State Department of Education was organized in 1891, the
first year of Idaho's statehood. Today the State Department of Education is
organized into an administrative section and six bureaus: Finance and Transportation,
Special Education, Technology Services, Federal Programs, Curriculum and
Accountability, and Certification and Professional Standards. Our
favorite resource on this state’s site is Dinner & a Book,
which bring families together with a unique approach to books and reading.
It’s definitely worth checking out.
