The Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities is a United Kingdom based organisation which aims to improve the quality of life for people with learning disabilities.
They are actively conducting research and sharing the findings with others around the world.
An important aim of the Foundation is to work with people with learning disabilities to improve the quality of their lives through:
1) Funding innovative research and service development projects and disseminating the findings
2) Listening to people with learning disabilities and involving them in its work
3) Seeking to influence policy
4) Providing specific and appropriate information to people with
learning disabilities, family, carers and service providers
5) Raising awareness about the lives of people with learning
disabilities
