Kiddio Audio Adventures - Review

Although it seems as if everyone now has a DVD set up in their car, Kiddio Audio Adventures brings some light-hearted adventures to the travel set with their stories of Billy Brown the bear.

Having long been a fan of audio programs such as Masterpiece Theater, it was fun to listen to these new audio programs designed for younger children. Each episode lasts anywhere from 30 - 45 minutes, so there is enough going on to occupy the kids for a reasonably long car trip into the city.

The stories are well told with a full range of voices playing a healthy cast of characters. The star Billy Brown is a big bear who has a friend named Emma. The two of them explore their town and have kid sized adventures with puzzles to be solved along the way.

There is only one episode per CD, however each one is fairly lengthy. The price is $10.99 per CD, plus shipping and handling. Kids will probably enjoy listening to these stories over and over, so a cost per listening may actually be quite low.

You can listen to a couple of short samples of Kiddio's Billy Brown adventures online.

Their first two adventures include Billy Brown and the Mystery Package and Billy Brown Goes Hiking
