The Ultimate Guide to Grandmas & Grandpas is an adorable children's picture book by Sally Lloyd-Jones that goes over the "rules" of handling grandparents. Written from a kid's point of view, the books discusses how to scream and run away when your grandparents as they pretend to be monsters, how to hold their hands when they're crossing the street, and how to make them feel better when they're sick (by giving them your special blanket).
There are quite a few rules in The Ultimate Guide to Grandmas & Grandpas, but the most important ones are to hug them, and kiss them, and always love them.
This is a fun book for parents to read to their kids, before grandma and grandpa come for a visit, or for a grandparent to read to their grandchildren. The illustrations are one of the best parts of the book. Your kids will giggle as they see a grandpa bear playing monster, and a grandma shark feeding her grandchildren a "special treat" of purple octopus.
The Ultimate Guide to Grandmas & Grandpas is a fun read with age appropriate language for a children's picture book, something I'm finding less and less these days. Let your grandchildren read it to you for a bedtime story this week. You'll be glad they did.
