How would you like a book that not only lets you read nursery rhymes to your baby, but also lulls them to sleep with a specially created CD? Thats what you get when you pick up a copy of Baby Sleepytime.
Christopher Oliver has created a simple book of nursery rhymes that he paired with a very special CD. Special audio tones are blended together and then hidden in the sound of the ocean. The audio tones apparently create a binaural beat that helps place your brain into a restful delta phase. The author created the CD to help his sister and her new born to sleep, and the results were amazing.
After reading about the background of this book, I decided that I would try it myself, and surprisingly it actually helped me sleep better. I haven't sleep well in ages. So, it seems to have made a believer out of this skeptic. It won't necessarily work for your and your kids, but it's sure worth a try if you're having difficulty sleeping. It sure beats cranky newborns, or in my case a very fitful night's sleep.
Simply pop the Baby Sleepytime CD into a player, put it on loop or repeat, spend a few minutes reading to your kids, and relax as you prepare for a restful night.
