If you're learning to code in PHP or if you're already a PHP programmer, Visibone's PHP Big Book is the perfect cheat sheet to keep close at hand. Can't think of the correct syntax for a query, or which function you need for your next step on the project? The PHP Big Book has all of it together in a concise cheat sheet.
What will you find on its 12 laminated pages? (And yes you definitely want the laminated ones.) You will find quick reminders on:
- Strings, with tables
- Regular Expressions
- Control structures: if, else, while, do, for, etc.
- Time & Date
- String ← Integer (3 ways)
- Integer ← String (6 ways)
- Operator precedence
In addition, there are: 569 self-testing examples, organized by topic, and hundreds of functions (my personal favorite feature). There are also a number of examples with a URLs. If you go to the webpage listed, you will see a full expanded example of the code and results.
The Visibone PHP Big Book is not a tutorial style book. It is strictly a cheat sheet, albeit a super elaborate one. If you have bad eyes, make sure that you have your glasses on, because the type is a little small; although that could be related to the fact that I'm not as young as I used to be.
So, if you have the basics of PHP coding down, or if you are a seasoned PHP programmer, this handy sheet will save you time by putting everythings right at your fingertips. The laminated version will cost you only 30 dollars, and you will probably save that much time in the first day of programming. A great product for all programming geeks!
