Background - Opposites attract, or do they? Recent case studies suggest that people are attracted to those similar in personality and physical appearance to themselves. But we all know that what happens on the outside of a person, is very seldom what is really on the inside. Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, we may all have a hidden personality that only surfaces under the right circumstances. By using the film The Hulk and a downloadable PDF from our Teen section, a compare and contrast essay will show students that there is more to us than meets the eye.

Objective - Do you have another side to your personality? Maybe one that few people have seen? After seeing the film The Hulk, and reading Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, have students write a 3-5 page paper comparing the two. Teachers can set guidelines as they see fit.
