Its amazing to notice, once you take a deeper look, that there are actually a set number of possibilities concerning your genetic make up. Just as Bruce Banner inherited a not-so-positive trait from his father, we take on much of our parents composition and then some.
Objective - With the help of the Dolan DNA Learning Center and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, you will explore DNA from the beginning, which includes lessons on Classical Genetics, Molecules of Genetics, Genetic Organization and Control, and an excellent Animation section. You will also learn more about Johann Gregor Mendel, the Father of Genetics. The objective of this lesson plan is to explore the process by which genetic traits are passed on.
