These photos of the Aztec Ruins National Monument are part of the more than 30,000 photographs, drawn from the holdings of the Western History and Genealogy Department at Denver Public Library, illuminate many aspects of the history of the American West. Most of the photographs were taken between 1860 and 1920.

New Mexico Aztec Ruins National Monuent Lesson Plans
A teacher's activity guide targeted for fourth through seventh grades is available. The lessons encourage teachers to use Aztec Ruins and the NPS loaner trunk of replica artifacts as a resource to help them teach language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and art.
