Network for Good - September 11th Funds

The following organizations have established various funds to help the victims of the September 11th attacks, or to help educate people about the events of 911.

9-11 FAMILIES GIVING BACK INC
911 Families Give Back aims to promote awareness of September 11th, 2001. Specifically we teach children in a family friendly manner, to never forget what happened on that day and those who sacrificed so much.

MEMORIA PROJECT
In early 2002, community members from Monmouth County, NJ (which lost 146 persons in the terrorist attacks) formed a non-profit corporation to oversee the creation of a commemorative stone sculpture. The Memoria Project is currently working with local and federal legislators, as well as community members, to determine the best permanent home for the completed memorial.

September 11th Widows and Victims Families Association, Inc.
The September 11th Families Association is a voice and information source for families who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. The Association is creating a long term platform to bridge the experiences and unity of the 9/11 community between families, survivors, residents, first responders, recovery workers, disaster agencies, & volunteers, creating a tremendous resource to improve and build upon for the future.

WTC UNITED FAMILY GROUP INC
This fund is used to provide emotional support to each other, protect the legacy and memory of the victims of the September 11th attacks, ensure an authentic perpetuation of the historic events and promote civic participation within our community and the general public.

BILLY ESPOSITO FOUNDATION INC
Dedicated to provide educational opportunities for children who have lost a parent primarily as a result of the events of September 11th. Assistance is given to candidates from the pre-school to graduate level of education in the form of scholarships based on an application and a need for financial aid.

CHILDREN OF HUNTINGTON SEPTEMBER 11 SCHOLARSHIP FUND INC
Helping families of September 11th

Firefighters National Trust
This fund provide the families of Firefighters killed in the line of duty with financial assistance through income bridging and education funding, and to provide emotional support through grief counseling.

JOINT NETWORK BENEFIT INC
Joint network benefit, inc. Was incorporated on september 21, 2001 in order to support the september 11 telethon fund of the united way of new york city, a 501 (c) (3) organization, on september 21, 2001, major television to heroes," a live two-hour, commercial-free simulcast of various performances to bring the american family and international community together to raise funds for the thousands of victims who suffered from the september 11th attacks.

SEAN CATON MEMORIAL FOUNDATION A NEW JERSEY NON PROFIT CORPORATION
The sean caton memorial foundation was started to honor the memory of christopher sean caton who was killed during the september 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the world trade center in new york city. The foundation has made a monetary contribution to glen rock high school to create the september 11th scholarship fund in memory of sean caton, class of 1985. The money is to be used for a collegiate scholarship to a graduate of glen rock high school.

SEPTEMBER 11TH BAYONNE REMEMBERS A NEW JERSEY NON PROFIT CORP
To perpetuate the memory of residents of Bayonne who lost their lives on September 11th 2001, and to build a permanent monument in their memory.

Children of 911, Inc.
Children of 911 was created to provide financial aid and assistance for the education of children and their families victimized by the September 11th terrorist attack on the United States. Children of 911 was also created with the ambitious goal of providing scholarships to children affected by other tragedies, devastating earthquakes, floods, and fires.
