Childhood Vaccinations

In light of recent reports concerning the decrease in the number of children who get their vaccinations on time, we are posting this list. By the year 2010, the CDC (Center for Disease Control) wants 80% of toddlers nationwide to be vaccinated on schedule against these nine childhood diseases:

  • Diphtheria

  • Whooping Cough

  • Tetanus

  • Haemophilus Influenza

  • Hepatitis B

  • Polio

  • Measles

  • Mumps

  • Rubella

August is National Immunization Month. Do your part to keep your child, as well as others susceptible to contracting these preventable and dangerous diseases, from getting sick . . . get your shots!
