A Quick Kit for a Pregnant Friend

During the first trimester of pregnancy, more than a few women have found themselves with an uncharacteristically squeamish stomach. Morning sickness, unfortunately, does not occur just in the morning. It can strike at any point.  To help keep nausea at bay, fill a small case or zip-lock bag with the following items:

  • Saltine crackers
  • Tea (chamomile or herbal)
  • Tums or other antacid tablets

These additional items will help to rescue her day when things aren’t going as planned:

  • Moist wipes
  • Travel toothbrush and travel-size toothpaste
  • Mini bottle of mouthwash - travel-size
  • Gum or breathmints. Fruit flavors seems to be a better choice than mint, which sometimes triggers queasiness.
