Quebec Province
This is must- have information if you are doing your country report on Canada!
Québec is Canadas largest province and it is located on the northeast section of North America. We think of Texas as a large state in the US, so its pretty impressive to think that Québec province is more than twice the size of Texas! Just over 7.4 million people live in Québec. Compare that once again to Texas, which had almost 21 million residents in 2002, according to the US Census, and youll see that you have a lot more space per person in Québec. Its twice the size and has about 1/3 the people!
The two largest cities in Québec provence are Montreal and the capital, Québec City. Both of these cities are located along the St. Lawrence, which is one of the largest rivers in the world.
Below youll find special resources for both of these cities that weve assembled with the help of various Canadian tourism boards.
