Ireland - Architecture

Take a tour of some of the great buildings in Ireland.

Arch E´ire has created a site where you can explore some of the best architecture in this country. Click on an interactive map or choose a county from the list at the top of the page to get started.

Here are one of our favorites, but be sure to browse through the site yourself to see everything that is here.

Castletown House
Castletown is the largest and grandest Palladian country house in Ireland and it is really impressive! Take a tour through the various studies, bedrooms, and drawing rooms, and be sure not to miss the write-up on the nearby Obelisk that is visible from the Long Gallery.
